How do I deactivate a theme?

  1. Log into your WordPress Dashboard
    Open your web browser and log into your WordPress site by going to yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.
  2. Navigate to Themes Section
    In the left-hand sidebar, hover over Appearance, then click Themes.
  3. Activate a Different Theme
    The current theme in use will be displayed at the top. To deactivate it, simply activate another theme.
    • Find a theme you’d like to activate (you can use a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Three) and click the Activate button.
    • Activating a new theme automatically deactivates the previous one.
